Over the course of two meetings, the Student Government Association approved $190,000 to be allocated to members of the Student Organizations Committee, cutting budgets across the board by $51,234.
All student leaders who receive stipends through the Office of Academic Affairs next fall, will be required to sign an agreement pledging, among other stipulations, to adhere to the University's Catholic values and maintain a specific GPA.
Dominic Aquila will replace Jerry Kramer as dean of the School of Arts and Sciences on July 2. Kramer, founding dean of the school, will remain at UST as associate vice president of academic affairs.
Students worked "day and night" on a mosaic for the recently opened Gunian Chapel altar, according to Director of Campus Ministry Sister Maura Behrenfeld. The piece will also be featured during the graduation Mass on May 18, which will take place prior to the graduation commencement ceremony. The Mass will honor all graduating seniors and will be immediately followed by a reception for the graduates and their guests.

April 3: Senators unanimously approved Senate Bill No. 35, titled the "FAM Fest Bill" and presented by Senator White. The bill allocated $1,042 to the student organizers of FAM Fest.
Fourteen students, members of the Pre-Health Professional Society, will work with volunteer physicians from the foundation for International Medical Relief of Children to help build a clinic in El Salvador and educate its community about basic health care.
Students enjoyed an omlette staition among other a.m. treats at the Late Night Breakfast on May 7. The event, sponsored by the Office of Student Affairs, also included a raffle drawing and gifts boxes including study tools like snacks, pencils and note pads.
