The Houston Cougars were picked to finish second behind Tulsa in the West division in the annual Conference USA Coaches' Preseason Poll on Tuesday.
Tulsa, which won the division last year after handing UH a 56-7 defeat to secure the top spot in the West, was picked unanimously to repeat their performance.
